I went to Life 20 years ago. Will all or any of those credits transfer?
As long as they fulfill an area in the curriculum, yes. At that time there was not as much general education required at LIFE, so you may need to pick up some units at a community college.

Do I need 60 credits or 75 credits to be enrolled in the program?
You can enroll with only 60. You can earn the other 15 along the way if you do not have them prior to entering.

I am going to do my Bible
units through Distance Learning. What classes should I
take?
We recommend taking: Intro to Biblical Literature, Pentateuch,
Acts, Systematic Th. 1 & 2 (pick any of these adding up

How much will the cost be?
$325 per unit / $14, 625 total (45 units). If you are a licensed minister you may qualify for the pastor’s discount, making the total cost $245 per unit / $11,025 total.

How do payments work?
Payment in full (or arrangement for financial aid) is due before each academic term. Students may also sign up for our payment plan which allows them to pay for each term over 4 months (25% per month). The cost for the payment plan is an additional $50 per term.

Can I get credit for non-accredited college of institute work?
It depends. We can evaluate all of your prior academic work and let you know exactly what you can and cannot receive credit for. You may be requested to provide prior school catalogs and syllabi in order to help us evaluate any non-accredited work. Non-accredited work may also help you develop your credit for prior learning portfolio (see question #10 below).

What night of the week / time are these classes on?
The nights vary with each cohort, but they are usually on Tuesday OR Thursday nights from 6-10PM

If I don’t need 45 credits, do I still have to do the whole program?
Yes, you need to take all of the classes in the major. You can use excess credits for electives, up to 30 units.

When is the deadline for an application?
The application deadline is two weeks before the cohort starts. No applications will be accepted after that. For the summer cohort, the application deadline is May 23rd.

How do I get credit for life experience?
In your first class, Foundations of Leadership, you will be shown how to develop a portfolio of experiences and make a formal request for credit.
